Material Safety Datasheet: P-80 Lubricants

Source: International Products Corporation

P-80® Lubricants are unique assembly aids. They provide temporary lubrication to ease tight-fitting rubber parts such as pump seals, o-rings, hoses, and grommets. The ease of assembly that they offer contributes to less strained and torn parts, and a reduction in slippage-related injuries. Once dry, P-80 products will not re-lubricate, even in the presence of moisture.

P-80 Lubricants are available in industrial and incidental food contact (IFC) formulas. P-80 IFC products are NSF-Registered as H1 Lubricants and meet FDA regulation 21 CFR 178.3570, which controls lubricants with food contact.

Industrial P-80 Products include:

  • P-80 Emulsion: "The Original." P-80 Emulsion has a milky consistency, and typical viscosity of about 110 cps.
  • P-80 THIX: a non-drip gel for overhead and vertical applications
  • P-80 Grip-it Quick-drying surfactant and polymer mixture
  • P-80 for Incidental Food Contact is available in P-80 Emulsion IFC and P-80 THIX IFC formulas.
