Deloitte & Touche created the Technology Fast 50 program in Oregon and 20 other regions in the U.S. To be eligible for consideration, companies must provide technology-related products or services, be headquartered in Oregon, have been in business a minimum of three years with operating revenue of at least $1 million. Recipients of the award are now candidates for the National Technology Fast 500 Awards.
Pacific Scientific Instruments and the other recipients were honored at an event sponsored by Deloitte & Touche, The Business Journal, United Parcel Service, Tonkin Torp, and Marsh Technology Group. Keynote speaker at the event was Craig Barrett, CEO of Intel Corporation, who offered his vision on the future of technology and the role the recipients of the award would play in our society. Over 600 people attended the sold-out event in Portland, Oregon.
