Patrick Hughes Joins Good Products To Spearhead North American Growth
Good Products, a leading provider of Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solutions for the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industries recently announced that former ClinPhone Senior VP of sales and marketing, Patrick Hughes, has joined the company to spearhead US commercial activity. Patrick will be based at the Good Products North American headquarters in Irvine, California, and will be responsible for driving commercial growth and introducing new products to the US market.
Patrick brings to Good Products over 10 years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry, and will be supporting the North American sales channels for the full portfolio of Good Products solutions: g-docs electronic Document Management Software, g-train compliant training solution and CoSign digital signature software. Prior to joining Good Products, Patrick held senior management roles at ClinPhone, including Senior VP Software & Marketing, where he was responsible for overseeing commercial software development and leading global strategy, new product development and campaign management.
"Demand for transparent document management in the US biopharmaceutical industry has increased significantly with the introduction of recent regulations, and Good Products is ideally placed to quickly deploy intuitive document management solutions," comments Patrick Hughes. "Good Products recognizes the importance of providing small and mid-sized biotechnology organizations with a credible alternative to expensive ECM solutions which require extensive installation and training programs."
In 2005, Patrick founded ClinPhone's Product Strategy Team to drive strategic development initiatives, and was responsible for the launch of six new product lines. Patrick also played a significant role in taking the business public on the London Stock Exchange. During his time at ClinPhone, Patrick also led the strategic commercial development of the US business, with annual revenue growth of 40%.
Keith Williams, CEO of Good Products, comments, "We are extremely pleased to welcome Patrick to our well-established team. Combining years of experience in the pharmaceutical sector with a proven track record for driving commercial growth, Patrick's expertise will be of great benefit to both new and existing customers in North America."
Headquartered in Nottingham, UK, Good Products provides companies in the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical sectors with a secure and centralized repository for electronic source documentation. Effective document management is becoming increasingly important in the US following the release of FDA guidelines on the use of the Electronic Common Technical Document (eCTD) for regulatory agency submissions.
