Capping Machines: AC Series

PennTech offers a state-of-the-art aseptic capping machine, model AC-6. The machine is designed specifically for low to medium speed pharmaceutical, biotech and animal health capping applications.

The AC-6 capping machine is designed to apply flip-off aluminum caps on the complete range of pharmaceutical vials from 2 to 100ml. at an output rate of up to 200 vials per minute. The machine is designed for 13 and 20 mm caps.

Vials are transported from the infeed conveyor to the infeed star-wheel of the capping machine where they automatically withdraw caps from the vertical cap feed chute.

When entering the central turret, the vial with cap rotates progressively against the central sealing turret creating a perfect seal. The capped vial leaves the central turret and is transported to the outfeed star-wheel after which it is placed on the outfeed conveyor for further processing.
