Sanitary Couplers, Inc.al couplers provide a contamination-free processing environment that products require in a sanitary hose and coupler assembly. Features include:
  • Sanitary: full flow compression seal prevents bacteria build-up
  • Clean-In-Place suitable: no disassembly for cleaning like with clamped-in fittings
  • Safe: strong coupling retention, no straps or bands to injure workers

With PermaSeal couplers, the flexibility and handling ease of hose with the sanitary cleaning and maintenance ease of rigid stainless steel pipe are combined. The couplers use an internal expansion method to create a uniform 360° fixed seal that eliminates the possibility of product wicking between the coupler and hose. The net result after fabrication is a full flow smooth bore connection without ledges or crevices that can accumulate bacteria or restrict flow. The couplings are available in sizes 1½-6 in. in a wide range of end styles. Stems are manufactured from grade 316 stainless steel. Hose sleeves are available in stainless steel or high impact polymer.
