Pharmaceutical Metal Detection Equipment
Pharmaceutical Metal detectors identify small particles of stainless steel, ferrous, and non-ferrous metals that can enter the workflow from the manufacturing process, or raw materials.
The technology uses conducting coils wound on a non-metallic frame connected to a high-frequency radio transmitter to sense the presence of metal contaminants. Metallic particles passing through the coils disturb the associated high-frequency field triggering a tiny change in voltage (microvolts) that allows instantaneous detection and rejection of contaminated product.
We offer high performance single frequency metal detection systems and multi-scan technology that uses up to five adjustable frequencies. By enabling the simultaneous detection of many metal types and smaller particle sizes, multi-scan technology delivers equivalent performance to a series of metal detectors, substantially reducing the probability of missing a contaminant for critical applications.
