Pharmaceutical Monobloc Liquid Filling Equipment – MNB 2000
The Net Tare Weigh Monobloc expands the capability of the MNB-2000. Once in the turret, the containers are carried through the tare weighing, filling, and gross weighing functions.
The tare weighing system incorporates a weigh cell positioned beneath the turret indexing assembly, a pneumatic container positioning device, and a pneumatically-actuated section of the turret indexing assembly’s back-up ring. Empty containers are indexed onto the weigh cell by the turret indexing assembly. Once a container is located on the weigh cell, the pneumatically-actuated section of the back-up ring retracts and the positioning device extends to disengage the container from any contact with the turret pocket. While the container remains free from contact with the turret and the back-up ring, its tare weight is determined. The positioning device then retracts and the pneumatically-actuated section of the back-up ring returns to its original position, thereby returning the empty container to its original position within the turret assembly and preparing it for the next index cycle of that assembly.
