PharmaZell Further Strengthens Its Management Team
PharmaZell GmbH announced recently that Tracey Burr, Ph.D, has joined the Company as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and is in charge of all R&D activities for all the PharmaZell sites. Dr. Burr is an American citizen and holds a B.A. degree in Chemistry, a Master of Science degree in Organic Chemistry from the California Institute of Technology, Pasadena, CA and a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Cambridge, MA.
Dr. Burr has many years of experience in various R&D executive positions in the field of active pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs). In her new role she will report directly to Dr. Wolfgang Burger, Managing Partner of PharmaZell. Dr. Burr’s experience, technical and leadership skills will help PharmaZell to further strengthen and expand its position as a Contract Manufacturing Organization in the pharmaceutical industry.

The sites in Germany and Chennai have been inspected by the FDA and inspections of the sites in Copenhagen and Vizag, India are expected within the coming months.
