Powder Filling Application Animation

AseptiSafe aseptic transfer Split Butterfly Valves (SBV) provide improved sterility assurance when transferring bulk powders such as API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients) from dispensing and processing steps to the filling line. The AseptiSafe transfer system will ensure the integrity of the powder product and the critical area before, during and after the transfer. Worker protection from potent/toxic products is also assured through validated dust particulate containment.

This animation shows how the AseptiSafe system can help maintain product integrity under positive pressure closed conditions, whilst product containers are being stored between prior processing/dispensing steps and the filling process. This is achieved with the SBV Passive connection and cover on the container. The containers are then docked to a common SBV Active connection on the filling line where the powder is charged under closed conditions.
