PRA International Announces Opening Of Expanded Clinical Pharmacology Center

PRA International, a leading Clinical Research Organization, announced the Grand Opening of its expanded, newly built Clinical Pharmacology Center in Lenexa, Kansas on February 27, 2008 at 3:00 p.m.

Doubled in size to 80 beds by the recent expansion, the clinic occupies the entire first floor of the modern Ridge Drive building near Kansas City. PRA's Early Development Services has installed state-of-the-art clinical technologies and many amenities to enhance the comfort of volunteers during their participation in Phase I clinical trials at the facility.

Special guest Kansas Secretary of Commerce David Kerr will join about 200 invited area civic leaders, medical scientists, potential investigators, and PRA top executives and clinic staff members for the official ribbon cutting and opening ceremonies. Kerr will represent the state in recognizing the clinic as an important step in developing Kansas as a leader in biosciences research.

The event will include a ribbon cutting, refreshments, entertainment, and most important, professionally guided tours of the brand new facility. The center's medical leaders and clinical staff will be on hand to answer questions during all tours.
