Pre-Integrated Batch Components

The I/A Series Batch suite, a line of pre-integrated batch automation components, combines an InBatch software engine with batch control, real-time information and ERP integration functionality. The product is designed to provide a comprehensive "plug and produce" automation solution for food plants, pharmaceutical plants, specialty chemical plants, and other batch manufacturing operations. This system is based on international batch standards including ISA S88, Namur and IEC 61131. Features include pre-integrated software components, scalability, integration with I/A Series integrated control package including batch-enabled MPC to reduce batch cycle times and improve batch-to-batch repeatability, and a redundant batch server designed to provide high availability where required. Additionally, the product includes IEC 61131-3-based sequential function charts as well as simplified integration and certified interoperability with ERP systems. It complies with US FDA regulations on electronic signatures and history, and can be used for batch management, control, or information.
