Several clients of J-STAR have sought to improve a troublesome step in a process or even redesign an entire route for one of their potential products or key intermediates.

This is where the many years of experience in pharmaceutical R&D makes the management and staff at J-STAR shine above the rest. Two of the company owners (Dr. Thompson and Dr. Johnson) have extensive experience in process research and can be counted on to come up with an efficient, safe, and cost effective solution to your particular problem.

We can design a new route, perform route selection if several options are available, or optimize a synthesis the client sends us. We know from first hand experience, what is needed to achieve a robust process. We institute standard operating procedures for each step, including valid analytical assays, optimized operating temperatures, concentrations, reagent charges, and end of reaction specifications.

We have expertise in product crystallization, and provide analytical controls to ensure that reproducible product yields and purity are obtained.
