Production Scale Mixers: RAM 5

All the benefits of ResonantAcoustic® Mixing technology will be available at the production scale with the introduction of the RAM 5 Mixer in early 2008. The RAM 5 can mix from 1-80 lbs (0.5-35 kg), or up to 5 gallons (20 liters).

ResonantAcoustic® Mixing (RAM) is a new technology that is revolutionizing mixing. Constraints and limitations of other mixing processes do not exist with the RAM technology. In addition to thorough mixing and consistent mixing results, RAM offers versatility; faster batch cycles, reduced process waste, simplified scale up, and enables new processes and formulation options.

The RAM 5 mixer is versatile, providing the mixing capabilities of low-shear mixers, high-speed mixers, high-viscosity mixers, sanitary mixers and variable speed mixers. RAM technology replaces impeller, propeller, paddle, ribbon, and planetary mixers in many industrial mixing applications.
