Prographarm to Market Flashtab Technology in the US

Prographarm Group, the French-based drug delivery system company, recently announced the launch of its patented Flashtab technology in the US market. Flashtab is a dosage form consisting of taste-masked tablets that melt rapidly in the mouth without water. The properties of this tablet are obtained by micro-coating the active ingredients for effective taste-masking and adding excipients for tableting. Easy to swallow, convenient and great tasting, the Flashtab dosage formula ensures better consumer acceptability and increased patient compliance.

Perrigo company, a marketer of Store Brand OTC drug and nutritional products, has acquired exclusive rights for the Flashtab technology for pediatric 80mg and 160mg acetaminophen products. Research conducted with children and their parents revealed excellent acceptance of this new dosage form.

Prographarm Group is also working on licensing agreements in Europe and expects to announce a new launch in the near future.
