Protein Expression & Analysis
Source: Curia
Curia’s expert scientists use advanced technology to produce and analyze high-quality recombinant proteins.
These proteins serve as custom assay reagents, protein standards, vaccine antigens, and tools to enhance our understanding of biology and pharmacology.
Protein Expression

- Protein expression using bacterial (E.coli), insect cells (Sf9, Sf21 or Tni), mammalian cells (HEK293 or CHO) or yeast (P. pastoris or S. cerevisiae)
- Culturing and expression in shaking flasks, 0 – 50L
- Large-scale fermentation (up to 2000L) is available through Curia development sites
Protein Purification
- Purification using Cytiva™ ӒKTA Pure™ or ӒKTA Avant™ FPLC, Bio-Rad™ NGC or Waters™ Preparative HPLC systems
- Purification from cytosol, conditioned media or inclusion bodies
- Extensive experience producing enzymes, membrane proteins and particularly challenging proteins, for example Huntingtin (HTT) and Huntington’s disease (HD) related proteins
