PQK-Rapid utilizes the color change of Coomassie Brilliant Blue-G dye in the range of 465 nm to 595 nm. Coomassie Brilliant Blue-G binds to basic or aromatic amino acid residues of proteins in an acidic condition.
Since this kit requires only 30 seconds of incubation time, the measurement of protein concentration can be carried out within a few minutes. PQK-Rapid also has a wide detection range of 5 to 2000 ug/ml.
