PURE-DENT NF Starches

Source: Grain Processing Corporation
PURE-DENT corn starch NF meets or exceeds all specifications for starch as detailed in NF XVIII.
PURE-DENT is the registered trademark for a family of Grain Processing Corporation's food, pharmaceutical, and cosmetic corn starches.

In the wet-milling process, corn is cleaned, steeped to soften the kernel, and the germ is separated. The remaining product is milled, washed, and centrifuged to remove the starch. The starch slurry is then filtered and dried to produce a fine powdered starch. Modifications can be made to this basic corn starch.
