Pharmaceutical Feeder

Specifically designed and developed with pharmaceutical companies for pharmaceutical processes, the PureFeed® AP-300 Auger Feeder is available in volumetric and gravimetric configurations for pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, and cosmetic applications involving feed rates from 500 grams/hour to approximately 150 Kg/hour. Jet milling, continuous blending, medical-grade plastics compounding, packaging, coating, and ingredient weighing are examples of the primary applications targeted.

Disposable Hopper:
Like other Schenck AccuRate feeders, the PureFeed® AP-300 feeder features a flexible hopper and programmable external dual-arm agitation system, to maximize material handling versatility. However, for the first time, the PureFeed® AP-300 uses flexible FDA-accepted EPDM feed-hoppers that are "disposable" and "recyclable." That means simpler, shorter cleaning cycles and virtually, no chance of cross contamination when moving from one material to another.

Surface Finish:
316L stainless steel is used for most of the feeder parts. 32 microinch RA finishes are standard on all contact surfaces with lower RAs available upon request.

Easy Disassembly and Maintenance:
The number of feeder pieces has been kept to a minimum and connections are made using sanitary quick-release clamps so disassembly, cleaning, and reassembly is quicker and easier than ever.
