Quadro® Comil® - The Preferred Choice

Quadro® has replaced old Oscillating Granulators with four (4) Comils, at a generic pharmaceutical company. Two (2) Mills were used for sizing wet and two (2) for dry granulation. With the installation of the Comils, less energy was required to achieve a much higher throughput, as well as optimum particle size distribution for tableting. No longer were there concerns about potential metal contamination from broken screens. An additional twenty (20) Oscillating Granulators will be changed over time, as SUPAC modifications are completed for each product. (The Quadro® Comil® is listed in the same class as the Oscillating Screen Mill. Therefore, equipment substitution entails only a SUPAC change for validated products).
