The sanitary construction of the RAPID 5000 metal separator is designed to meet the stringent hygienic requirements of the food, chemical and pharmaceutical industries. Magnetic and non-magnetic metal particles contained in the free-falling bulk material are separated by means of a reject flap (Quick Flap System) without any interrupting the flow of conveyed material. This separating principle has proven to be highly efficient with powdery and fine-grained bulk material.

RAPID 5000 metal separators are offered in standard diameters up to 10" (250 mm). The round reject mechanism does not have any cracks or crevices for easy cleaning, and to eliminate jamming and clogging in the pipe, even with sticky powders such as flour, starch, and spices.
