The motivation for this industry study, was to determine whether Karl-Fischer (KF) titration can be replaced by rapid, non-destructive lyo product moisture determination method. The investigation required evaluation of the correlation between headspace water vapor pressure and the actual degradation of hydrolytic small molecule API.
