Recipe Formulation Systems

With the integration of load cells and our proprietary software, a MATCON IBC Discharge System can efficiently perform loss-in-weight or gain-in-weight batching without the use of a secondary device (i.e. a loss-in-weight screw feeder). The software continually monitors the weight change and makes the necessary discharging adjustments.

This technology has allowed us to develop a fully automated formulation system (called Flexi-Batch) at a very affordable price. With this system, one discharge station travels back & forth under various raw ingredient IBCs. This discharge station is capable of batching all kind of products from free flowing (granulated sugar) to highly cohesive (titanium dioxide) without manual intervention.

Although achievable accuracies are product dependent, the typical accuracy is /- ¼ lb. We would encourage you to take advantage of our state-of-the-art test lab facility so that we can demonstrate our dosing capabilities with your product(s).
