Rocky Mountain Ginseng Acquires Chinese Drug Producer

Rocky Mountain Ginseng, Inc. (British Columbia, Canada) has finalized its purchase of Fuzhou Fujian Drugs Co. Ltd. in China. The company received the necessary approval and licensing from the Foreign Economic and Trade Committee of the Fuzhou People's Municipal Government, the Fujian Drug Control Bureau and the Fujian Hygiene Control Bureau. These approvals and licenses now give Rocky Mountain the right to independently produce and market their drugs in China.

The company has commenced construction of a new production and administration facility in Fuzhou's Hong Shan Industrial Park. When work is completed, the facility will satisfy China's new drug production standards, enabling the company to market products throughout the country and to export markets as well. Until the new plant is operational, Rocky Mountain will manufacture the complete line of Fuzhou Fujian products in the existing plant.

Rocky Mountain has also signed a distribution agreement with Qiangzhou Xin Fu Lar Health Products Co. Ltd., a major wholesaler in Qiangzhou.

Rocky Mountain Ginseng markets raw American ginseng root and value-added ginseng products in China and other parts of the world.
