With the WP 120 V Pharma, Alexanderwerk offers a roller compactor and granulator specifically designed for use in R&D departments or small scale production. Even batches of as little as 5g can be processed on the WP 1200 V Pharma.

The machine can equally process approx. 40kg/hr (of Lactose) making the WP 120 V Pharma a good choice for frequent product changes or smaller batches, for use in a pilot plant, or in small scale production. Due to the cantilever bearing design, the rollers can be easily replaced and cleaned with little effort. The WP 120 V Pharma is designed as a portable unit to meet the requirements of mobility and flexibility. The control and the operator panels are integrated in the machine so that the WP 120 V Pharma can be quickly repositioned for use in different locations. The machine's design meets all the requirements of the pharmaceutical industry.

Frequently, the WP 120 V Pharma is used in a laboratory or pilot plant to determine the process parameters for later production scale. The parameters thus determined can easily be scaled to larger machines, such as the WP 200 VN Pharma made by Alexanderwerk.

Granulation
The granulation of the WP 120 V Pharma is a two-stage diagonal design. The first stage is pre-granulation and the second stage is designed to function as a fine granulator. In addition to this standard design, a number of options and customized designs are available.
