Safeline To Present 'X-Ray Inspection: The Future Of Packaging Inspection' At Pack Expo

Processors and packagers in the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical industries face certain challenges, including detecting contaminants, detecting damaged or missing products, and identifying over-fill and under-fill. A presentation detailing the advantages of x-ray technology to address these concerns will be presented by Robert Scott – Product Manager, X-ray Inspection for Mettler-Toledo Safeline – during the Conference at Pack Expo International. The Conference at Pack Expo will be held in conjunction with Pack Expo International, October 15 – 18, 2007, at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Robert will give his presentation, "X-ray Inspection – The Future of Packaging Inspection," on Tuesday, October 16, 2007 between 9:20 am and 10:00 am.

Discounted registration for the Conferences at Pack Expo is currently available online at www.packexpo.com. For registrations received on or before Monday, September 24, 2007, the cost will be $55 per session. After September 24, 2007 and on-site, the cost will increase to $75 per session. Registration for the exhibits at Pack Expo International is required in order to register for conference program sessions.

X-ray inspection is an excellent product integrity checking system for the food and pharmaceutical packaging line. Robert will explain the technology and its specific application to these industries, as well as demonstrate that x-ray provides capabilities not available in metal detectors or vision systems.

In addition to the presentation at the Conference, Mettler-Toledo Safeline will be exhibiting its x-ray inspection and metal detection equipment at Pack Expo International in booth number C-518.
