- Sartolon filters are ideal for a broad range of solvents and liquids containing solvents. The Nylon membrane material of the Sartolon filter provides a broad chemical compatibility especially for aggressive solvents
- The heterogeneous double layer construction of the Sartolon filter provides higher total throughputs than homogenous double layer filter types, due to the built in prefiltration layer
- Sartolon, sterilizing grade filters, are fully validated according to HIMA and ASTM F-838-83 guidelines
- Each Sartolon sterilizing grade, filter element is tested for integrity by a Bubble Point and a Diffusion Test prior to being released, assuring the highest product quality and reliability
- Sartolon filters are available as standard cartridges, mini-cartridges, capsules and MaxiCaps for linear scale-up and broadest process flexibility
- Sartolon filters are non- pyrogenic according to USP Bacterial Endotoxins and are non-fiber releasing according to 21 CFR
- Sartolon filters fulfill all requirements of the current USP for “Sterile Water for Injection”. This includes testing for Toxicity according to USP Plastic Class VI Test including Extractables
