The company offers their customers the possibility of executing Short Path Distillation Trials on Laboratory and Pilot Plants.

The Short Path Distillation is a method to thermally separate substances which treats the materials to be distilled in an optimally gentle manner. By application of vacuum with pressures of 0.001 mbar only and due to the very short residence times a thermal decomposition is being avoided even in case of substances which are very sensitive to temperatures.

Prior to the application of Short Path Distillation in industry it becomes necessary very often that laboratory resp. pilot trials have to be executed first in order to optimize the distillation parameters and to stipulate the data for the size of the production plant. After the trials, sample quantities of the product are available which may be used for analytical laboratory tests resp. for investigations of the market possibilities.

Very experienced specialists are available who will assist interested customers to distill their products. Trial tests of material throughputs of some grams per hour up to 20 kg per hour may be executed.

By using glass units a visual control of the distillation procedures is being guaranteed. The data for the so-called "up-scaling" are achieved in pilot plants made of high-quality stainless steel and product quantities of up to 1000 kg may be produced. A variety of different unit versions guarantee the adaption of the distillation plants to all special requirements. The customers profit from the experiences gained in thousands of laboratory trial series.
