Siemens to offer free industrial IT seminars
"Automation Meets IT" nationwide educational series begins May 15
Siemens Energy & Automation, Inc., recently announced that it will host a series of free seminars covering the fundamentals of integrating plant-level control with enterprise management systems.
Intended for engineering and information technology managers, the "Automation Meets IT" seminar series will be held at locations across the U.S., from May 15 to mid-July, 2001. "Automation Meets IT" seminars are designed to give participants a practical look at business system integration from a factory floor perspective. Participants will learn about concepts for a successful integration strategies and how the latest technology impacts enterprise wide architectures.
