  • Variable limits
  • Evaluation rules
  • Miscellaneous

Charting

The charting has been completely reviewed and enhanced.
Configuring a chart has become much more intuitive and less complex.
The charting in the operator screen is now on the same level as in the classic runtime console.

The charting is enhanced with the following functionality:

  • stepping through data to replay the evolution of data as it entered the PAT system
  • high light data when an alarm occurred or comments have been entered
  • link data from several charts with each other by high lighting them when stepping through
  • filtering on data based upon the status of the data element

Data Miner

The Data Miner replaces the old model builder and is enhanced with new functionality:

  • Ad hoc data querying in a fast and intuitive way without stepping trough all the wizard steps
  • Ad hoc data querying from different SIPAT databases
  • Creation of data sheets and charts by drag and drop
  • Viewing runtime data together with historical data
  • Unlimited number of charts with the possibility to save them to disk.
  • Incorporates Data Browser application for viewing all runtime method data. Separate installation not needed anymore.

Condition on Models

Makes it possible to apply a certain model or calculation when certain conditions are met in the method.

Classification or hierarchical model are a good example for this functionality where the model to be applied is depending on the output of a previous model.

Variable limits

In previous version of SIPAT it was only possible to define a static limit which maintained the same value for the live time of the SIPAT method.

In this version you are able to define other types of limits.

Trajectory based upon time sequence or data set sequence: a typical example is here the golden batch trajectory.

Another way is defining a PAT id as a limit . Often the ownership of the limits or specifications resides not in SIPAT but in other systems.

With PAT id as limit it is possible to read the product specifications from a different system (e.g. OPC Server) during the execution of the SIPAT method.

Evaluation rules

A PAT system must be able to judge if the received data is trustworthy and reliable and must be able to detect outliers or bad data.

The evaluation rules makes it possible to design your own rules for detecting bad data and flag the data as such in the SIPAT database.

The Data Miner can filter out bad or suspect data to create correct and accurate models that will steer and control your production process.

Miscellaneous

  • The creation of complex calculations which are not delivered out of the box is simplified in a great way by providing an new type of calculation which uses a snippet file.
  • Support of the latest version of Umetrics being SIMCA P+ V12.0.1 and SIMCA QP+ V12.0.1
  • Reporting is adapted to allow the creation of reports respecting the configured data domains in a multi plant environment.
