Solid Bowl Decanter Centrifuge

The company's CA 505 solid bowl decanters offer high clarifying efficiency and optimum solids dewatering. They feature high G-force and an extremely high scroll torque in conjunction with a differential speed control, and operate on a continuous basis. Pressurized discharge using a centripetal pump is available. A gas-tight version, up to 1.0 bar abs is also available. These decanters are manufactured with corrosion-resistant stainless steel for a long life. The compact size and ease of maintenance are also advantages, along with a fully enclosed, noise insulating housing, which protects both the environment and the health of the operator

The CA series decanters offer two unique patented features:

• The 2-Gear Drive allows the differential speed to be automatically regulated depending on the torque of the scroll. This permits extremely small differential speeds for dewatering, attaining dewatering degrees previously confined to filter presses. Further, the decanter can be adjusted to the requirements of the specific application, and minimum differential speed can be used even when feed conditions fluctuate significantly.
• Vari-Pond, a self-adjusting weir, regulates the pond level (liquid level) in the centrifuge while it is running for optimum performance.
