Solid Bowl Disc-Type Centrifuge

The company's TA 275, a high efficiency solid bowl disc-type centrifuge, can be used for:

• separation of two immiscible liquids
• clarification, i.e.; the removal of solids from a single liquid
• three-phase separation (liquid/liquid/solid)

Solids will accumulate on the bowl periphery for manual removal. The outlet liquid phases are discharged continuously, either by gravity or foam free under pressure by centripetal pumps. An extraction agent can be mixed with a discharge phase for multi-stage washing, neutralizing, and extraction processes.

Features of the TA 275 include:

• gas tight
• ability to handle corrosive materials (linings, hoods and discs are made from Hastelloy or titanium.)
• handles high temperature applications
• ability to handle viscous material
