SPI Polyols (formerly ICI Polyols and Atlas Chemicals) is an application-oriented ingredients company serving the global market for over 65 years. SPI Polyols has acquired the polyols division of Lonza and Ethichem.

Our Food Division has formulation expertise in confectionery, bakery, dairy, flavors, and other applications. We manufacture and market a wide range of polyols including mannitol,sorbitol, maltitol, and hydrogenated starch hydrolysates. We also market maltose powder to reduce sweetness of foods, and to provide gloss and adhere particulates to crackers and bakery products. Our headquarters are located in the United States in New Castle, Delaware. We have polyol manufacturing locations both in New Castle, Delaware and Mapleton, Illinois. SPI Polyols also has affiliates in Brazil.
