Sterileware® Liquid and Powder Thieves

Sampling a portion of an industrially-produced pharmaceutical product for blend uniformity and contaminants is an important regulatory step to ensure high quality levels. However, reusable, autoclavable sampling tools used for non-uniform samples, such as drums of powder or liquids, are difficult to clean because of their moving parts.

Sterileware® Liquid and Powder Thieves provide a simple solution for sampling pharmaceutical products for quality assurance. These single-use, disposable tools eliminate any introduction of contamination from repeated use, ensuring consistent results and reducing the risk of contamination. Both Sterileware® liquid and powder thieves are gamma-irradiated to a sterility assurance level (SAL) of 10-6 and a Certificate of Processing for sterilization is shipped with each product to ensure sterility.
