Steve Pflantz Named 2025 International Society Of Automation Fellow

Pflantz was recognized for his innovative development and implementation of a mentorship model that equips early-career professionals with practical, real-time problem-solving skills. Pflantz is a CRB Fellow in Process Automation & Safety, bringing 38 years of experience in electrical, instrumentation, and controls system design for biopharma facilities. As part of CRB’s Fellowship program, he helps guide technical strategy, mentor emerging talent, and support clients through complex, high-stakes projects. His industry leadership includes serving as chair of the Automation Federation and president of the International Society of Automation in 2017—demonstrating his lasting impact on the automation profession.
