High-Performance LA600 SP Stick Pack Machine Sets New Standards
Stick packs are attractive, not only because of their handy, cute design; they also require minimum packaging material for a given fill volume. As with the new generation of sachet-sealing machines, the LA560 SP stick pack machine is also based on a modular construction concept. MediSeal has dosaging modules available for all types of application – creams, liquids, powders or granules. On a maximum of 16 lanes, the LA600 SP can package more than 1000 stick packs per minute. At the same time, its footprint, at approximately six square metres, is very small.
Modularity and user-friendliness
The hinged bearings for the foil reel holder, already proven in the 4-edge sealing environment, also form part of the basic equipment of the LA600 SP, along with automatic print mark and edge control. A cutting and gluing table, a colour touchscreen with format data storage via a USB interface and an Ethernet link for integration into the customer's network are all incorporated. The key development priorities for the LA600 SP were modularity and user-friendliness. For example, the individually pivoting shaping shoulders (patent pending), which can be opened and closed at the touch of a button, mean that fill tube removal and positioning of the individual lanes of material are simple operations. This process is currently unique on the market.
Modular construction guarantees investment protection
Modular construction means that any workstation, such as lengthwise and crosswise sealing, tear open notch, fill monitoring or transverse cutter can be mounted on the front plate via a quick-connect system and connected simply to the plug-in power and compressed air connectors. Format changes can therefore be carried out quickly. The modular construction of the new unit also ensures that new customer requirements can be integrated into the machine at any time – a convincing argument for protecting the customer's investment.
