Stopper Processing Application Animation

Source: Chargepoint Technology

AseptiSafe aseptic transfer Split Butterfly Valves (SBV) provide improved sterility assurance when handling small closure components (such as vial stoppers) from processing steps to the filling line. Ideal for bulk transfers from the autoclave, the AseptiSafe transfer system will ensure the integrity of the components and the critical area before, during and after the transfer.

This animation shows how the AseptiSafe system utilises the principles of separation, and the removal of the ring of concern from the SBV connection on the autoclave, with Steam In Place (SIP) capability, before the sterilised stoppers are loaded into the container. The SBV connection on the filling line is also decontaminated in conjunction with the filling line barrier/isolator gassing cycle. The batch of components is then transferred to the filling line for unloading.
