The Series 502 Suspended Solids Meter use ultrasonic attenuation to measure the concentration of sludges and slurries that are too thick for optical methods. This new higher power microprocessor based instrument features: Automatic Push-Button Calibration; Automatic Dynamic Damping; Advanced Self-Diagnostics; and is insensitive to color. The enclosure is NEMA-4X (IP67) it has an LCD readout; 4-20 mA output; two set-point relays; and a serial port. A four-page brochure shows typical installations, and contains a description of the principle of operation plus technical specifications for the various models.
