The SVClosureTech is a flexible platform to inspect a multitude of pharmaceutical closures, like rubber stoppers, rubber plungers, aluminium seals, flip off caps, syringe needle shields and spray nozzles.

In most pharmaceutical packaging processes the final product is of much higher value than the components of the pharmaceutical packaging. To avoid rejects of high value products from defective packaging components, SVResearch have developed an inspection machine to check closures for cosmetic and functional defects. Up to six camera stations can inspect closure components at speeds of up to 600 units / min. The machine is designed to work under laminar flow conditions in clean rooms and in isolators. It can be operated off line or in line with filling machines under classified conditions.
