Systech Augments Key Departments To Drive Operational Excellence And International Support

Systech International, the innovator of Packaging Execution Systems (PES) for the pharmaceutical industry, recently announced organizational enhancements including the expansion of its sales, central engineering and professional services teams. The company is augmenting its resources in these areas to support rapid worldwide deployments; specifically, the increasing number of serialization projects. Systech's organizational structure provides additional investment in product development, implementation and professional services.

To support the increasing number of serialization projects, Systech has identified key hires to lead its national and international serialization teams. These new additions have extensive background in pharmaceutical packaging and specialize in implementing serialization applications. The organizational enhancements are:

  • To oversee the new serialization teams and all other business functions, Systech has appointed Joe Ringwood to COO. Prior to this role, Mr. Ringwood served as VP, Sales & Operations for Systech. He has been instrumental in directing the company's strategies for growth worldwide while expanding its customer, business and technology partnerships.
  • Systech has expanded its professional services teams with a number of new field-proven project managers, field and project engineers. These hires have been selected for their subject matter expertise and will be dedicated to address multiple product deployments. The company has also increased its customer support teams to provide level 1, 2 and 3 support to fulfill the company's Service Level Agreements. This allows Systech to deliver the most consistent responsive service performance for its product implementations.
  • To bolster its international presence and enhance in-region support, Systech has established its European headquarters in Belgium. The additional location compliments its U.K. based office and will further enable its sales and professional services teams to more readily respond to system-related issues and maintain customer relationships.
  • Systech has appointed a new CFO, Robert Olanoff to architect the financial growth strategy that will support the continued expansion of the business. He has an extensive career in working with growth companies, helping them implement tactics and strategies that focus on the long-term success of financial operations. At Systech, he will align processes, procurement and accounting to support ongoing serialization initiatives.

"These organizational enhancements are in response to our continued growth worldwide. We are prepared to help our customers fulfill their global strategies," said Robert DeJean, President & CEO, Systech International. "Our primary goal is to manage and optimize our resources effectively, so we can continue to promote innovation and respond to the market's ever-changing demands."

Systech is providing PES to 19 of the top 20 pharmaceutical manufacturers. Customers look to the company to offer a complete productized solution, ongoing consultation and product assurance. Manufacturers rely on Systech to deploy its serialization solution, Serialized Product Tracking (SPT), in preparation for pending U.S. state ePedigree and international authentication initiatives. SPT is optimized for RFID tags and 1D/2D bar codes.
