Systems Validation, Documentation, And Serialization Expert Joins Secure Symbology

Secure Symbology, a leading provider of serialization and anti-counterfeiting solutions, announced that the former head of Systech's validation and documentation team, Mr. Steven Connolly, has joined the company.

"The value and timing of having Steven join the company couldn't be better" said Richard Smith, the company's Director of Engineering and Systems Manufacturing. "With e-pedigree legislation mandates in place and pharmaceutical manufacturers installing our patented unit-level serialization systems at speed, the significance of having a person of Steven's skill set leading our validation team is of great importance to the company and our customers."

Prior to working for Systech in the technical systems validation and documentation arena, Mr. Connolly spent fourteen years of his career working for the well known pharmaceutical packing equipment maker, Luciano Packaging Technologies (LPT), where he held various positions of increased responsibility including systems design and validation. Throughout his career, Steven has been laser focused on packaging line innovation and automation by creating and applying effective systems design and validation solutions to unique packaging problems. Steven's depth of experience also includes being directly involved in the development of equipment for major pharmaceutical product manufacturers, from the prototype phase to the production phase, while meeting and/or exceeding the FDA's strict guidelines. Furthermore, Mr. Connolly provides a superior depth of insight for the company into the regulatory requirements in the pharmaceutical industry, including expertise in the implementation of validation procedures and processes for both solid dose and liquid packaging line systems.

"Secure Symbology continues to build a best of breed engineering organization that has superior capabilities in support of the global communities drive to achieve complete supply-chain efficiency and accountability via the application of our patented unit-level serialization systems and solutions to all manufactured products" said Graham Sampson, Secure Symbology's Chairman and CEO. "Having Steven join the company as a key member of our engineering team confirms our commitment to best-of-breed hiring practices to all of our clients."
