The SOTAX HT 1 Tablet Hardness Tester is an excellent tablet tester for the tablet press room. It measures tablet hardness and length or diameter. The test jaws can be used to measure tablet thickness thus eliminating the need for an external caliper. The HT 1 interfaces with an external balance to also record tablet weight for a single printout. It is fully supported by IQ and OQ documentation and user training.

The HT 1 Tablet Hardness Tester is already equipped with an electronic board to connect a balance (to measure the weight) and a digital caliper (to measure the thickness). The measurement of hardness on the SOTAX HT 1 can be switched to «Constant Speed» or to «Constant Force».

The program menu allows the user to store methods with different limits (T1/T2/T3).

Printout of results and statistics are possible with a standard – or a label-printer.

The SOTAX HT 1 Tablet tester is the only Hardness Testing unit available with the Auto Alignment device (patent pending).

The HT 1 Tablet tester can be used as standalone unit connected to a printer or controlled with the Q-Doc-Hardness Tester Software.
