Viatran Corporation's Model 359 offers improvement of response time to dynamic temperature shifts such as those caused during the introduction of other media at different temperatures and/or CIP/SIP. The Model 359 tank level transmitter is designed specifically to replace pneumatic level sensors in tanks. Using hydrostatic pressure to determine liquid level, the Model 359 insures accurate and reliable measurement in ranges from 33 in.-750 in. of water. Viatran will manufacture the Model 359 to fit any of the wells or flange mounts already in use on equipment that involves only a simple adapter change.

Model 359 is constructed of 316 stainless steel that provides maximum protection against corrosion. A flush diaphragm allows for clean in place (CIP) and sterilization in place (SIP) systems, making it ideal for the dairy, pharmaceutical, biotech, and cosmetic industries. A unique, magnetically coupled external control system guarantees air and water-tight in-use adjustments with the ability for fine tuning capability not available in other transmitters. Viatran's Model 359 comes in three different lengths for varying tank wall thicknesses.
