Telstar Joins Forces With Clean Air Techniek BV And PMV BV
Telstar is a family owned international company headquartered in Barcelona, Spain. The Company provides added value and global solutions to address technological areas as diverse as Life and Health Sciences (Pharmaceutical, biotech and related industries), Scientific Research and Development (studies for aerospace, telecommunications, microelectronics, etc...) and Industry (automotive, domestic and industrial cooling, chemicals, etc...).

- Telstar Life Science solutions: Pharmaceutical, medical-hospital, biotechnological and laboratory sectors.
- Telstar Vacuum solutions: Physics and aerospace industry, automotive industry, domestic and industrial refrigeration industry, chemical, electrical and electronics industries, etc.
- Telstar Instruments for solutions: Research and development centres and general industry.
Telstar has focused its businesses in the field of Life Science and Health through its Telstar Life Science Solutions division to provide equipment solutions for the pharmaceutical, medical-hospital, biotech, laboratories and related industries. The focus of Telstar Life Science Solutions in the Laboratory Field is the design, manufacture, sales and after sales of Laboratory Equipment for R+D, quality control and analysis in sectors related to Life and Health Sciences. Telstar offers to the market an extensive range of products such as vertical and horizontal laminar flow benches, bio-safety cabinets, lyophilizers, containment and sterile isolators and ultra low-temperature freezers.
CLEAN AIR, a Dutch company set up in 1971, has developed strongly and has gained a leading position in clean air technology in Northern Europe, with 80% market share in the Benelux. With over 70 employees, has a customer base which includes academic hospitals and biological research/discovery companies.
CLEAN AIR has two companies under different brands:
- Clean Air Teckniek designs, manufactures and sells clean air technology for laboratories, such as vertical and horizontal laminar flow benches, biological safety cabinets, isolators and tailor-made products. Fully range of scientific equipment as incubators or freezers.
- PMV is responsible for the provision of maintenance, validation and calibration services for clean air products such as biological safety cabinets and the products of its Principals. It also has a strong calibration laboratory located in The Netherlands and Belgium with a well recognised and solid experience in particle counting calibration service and full monitoring systems for clean rooms.
In order to consolidate and extend activities, the acquisition of CLEAN AIR/PMV supposes an ideal complement, allowing TELSTAR-CLEAN AIR to reach the first position as European biosafety cabinet manufacturer.
