IMA ACTIVE machines on display
The KILIAN SYNTHESIS 500 is a mid-size tablet press machine designed for easy operation and cleaning. All components have been designed with smooth surfaces and can be easily cleaned. The die table can be taken out without removing the punches, while the force feeder and the tablet discharge are hinged and can swing out for easy access and cleaning. Since the mechanical and the compression areas are completely separated and sealed off, there is no risk of product penetration into the lower compartment of the machine: this means no risks of cross contamination, less maintenance operations and 100% 'black spot' free tablets. With the state of the art quality control system 'ViCon' an automatic machine set up is possible. The SYNTHESIS 500 reaches a production speed of 360,000 tablets/hour.
IMA SAFE machines on display
UNILINE, a new and unique addition to the market, is a conveying filling and capping system that flexibly integrates the functions required to form a complete counting line: container loading, desiccant insertion, counting and filling, cotton insertion, capping, coding and rejection. With UNILINE, every container is unique and identifiable. Thanks to the innovative positive conveyor system, each container is positioned inside a dedicated housing, ensuring traceability at every stage of the packaging cycle, from loading to rejection. UNILINE is an all-new concept in packaging solid products into containers, generated by the experience of IMA SAFE LINE, IMA SAFE SWIFTPACK and IMA SAFE NOVA.
On display from IMA SAFE NOVA is the SL39, a new slat counter designed to meet customer's demands for quick and easy cleaning. The optional innovative replacement filling head drastically reduces the changeover time of the machine. Designed to use Lakso® or Merrill® and King slats, this counter is also available with the TruCount® 100% count verification system. All drive and mechanical components are fully enclosed for improved safety and elimination of product entrapment points. The SL39 can reach speeds of up to 400 bottles/minute, depending on product and bottle shape and size.
IMA SAFE CO.MA.DI.S. will exhibit the CD Linear, a linear tube filling machine "in full line" with the qualities and features that have made the company famous around the world: machine accessibility, simple size changeover sequences, quick disassembly of product contact parts, user-friendly and effective control logics. A new machine, designed from the operator's view point: all functions are visible, easily controlled and managed. Inspired by highly accurate logic controls that leave no room for error or uncertainty, it offers wholly reliable performances, gaining the operator's trust from the outset and maintaining it over time. A modern tube filling machine in the broadest sense of the word: fast, safe and user-friendly. The CD Linear reaches an output of 200 tubes/minute.
On display from IMA SAFE is the FLEXA CSD, the new version of the continuous motion cartoning machine for the pharmaceutical industry. The whole range of Flexa cartoners includes 9 models. The fastest model can reach up to 190 cartons/minute. User-friendly, thanks to its ergonomical design and fast changeovers, FLEXA features touchscreen machine status monitoring system, easy access to size data and parameters. Servo driven applications makes FLEXA cartoners adaptable to pack a wide range of products in a safe operational sequence at optimal speed. Flexa CSD is a high performing, reliable, efficient and modular cartoner.
IMA SAFE LINE will exhibit the MS280 PP, the new servo driven stretch-banding and shrink-wrapping machine. The MS280 PP is equipped with a Pick and Place electronic system suitable to handle both cartons and bottles. It features a balcony style design with quick changeover and is completely servomotor driven. The new electronic sealing system guarantees tight film wrap. The MS280 PP reaches speeds of up to 100 bundles/minute.
