Welcoming you to Booth # C1819

IMA continues to innovate and meet the needs of a market that increasingly calls for machines capable of guaranteeing continuous and high output efficiency. As a world leader in the design and manufacture of automatic machines for the processing and packaging of pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, tea and coffee, IMA comes closer than anyone to understanding and satisfying your requirements.

At Pack Expo Las Vegas 2009 the IMA Group will exhibit new solutions for the packaging of pharmaceutical products.

UNILINE, a new and unique addition to the market, is a conveying filling and capping system that flexibly integrates the functions required to form a complete counting line: container loading, desiccant insertion, counting and filling, cotton insertion, capping, coding and rejection. With UNILINE, every container is unique and identifiable. Thanks to the innovative positive conveyor system, each container is positioned inside a dedicated housing, ensuring traceability at every stage of the packaging cycle, from loading to rejection. UNILINE is an all-new concept in packaging solid products into containers, generated by the experience of IMA SAFE LINE, IMA SAFE SWIFTPACK and IMA SAFE NOVA.

On show by IMA SAFE CO.MA.DI.S., the C970, a tube filler suitable to handle metal and plastic/laminate tubes with hot air sealing unit. Innovative features of the C970 include a dosing pump that can be swiftly dismounted without using any tools, quick interchangeability of closing/sealing heads and a programmable "touch screen" colour panel, easily accessible to the operator and suitable to perform digital adjustment of working parameters. Thanks to the design criteria the machine allows an easy access to the four sides of the basement for cleaning and maintenance operations. The C970 achieves a speed of 70 tubes/minute

The MS250 is a new compact, servodriven stretch-bander designed by IMA SAFE LINE for the pharmaceutical market. The cantilever structure and separation of the drive and production units allow the best access for service, maintenance and cleaning. Very quick size changeover, ergonomic film reels change, production speed up to 60 bundles per minute. As alternative to the standard up-stacking infeed system, the MS250 can be arranged with a Pick & Place infeed system (on show at Pack Expo Las Vegas 2009) able to manage each single product or layer and collate bundles with several layers.
