TOC Analyzer

The 502P Analyzer monitors total organic carbon (TOC) in pure and ultrapure water systems through a unique continuous on-line process based on differential resistivity/conductivity. The process, which requires no gases, acids, or reagents, takes just 15 seconds. In that time, a water sample is measured for resisitivity and temperature, oxidized, and re-measured. The analyzer then calculates and displays the TOC measurement, updating every 2 seconds and storing the last 255 data points taken. High/low setpoint alarms, 4-20 mA analog output, and RS-232 digital output provide versatility.

TOC measurement determines the level of contamination caused by organic compounds. Pharmaceutical production now incorporates TOC measurements per USP 23 <643> 8th supplement in place of the older oxidizable substances test. Meet these requirements with the 502P for the monitoring of USP Purified Water and Water for Injection. Validation is made easy with the use of IQ/OQ and SOP documents supplied with the analyzer.
