Research Triangle Institute excels in pharmaceutical challenges that go beyond routine safety and efficacy trials and focuses its efforts on research problems that require unique solutions. For more than 20 years, RTI has performed toxicological and preclinical studies that range in focus from the whole animal to subcellular biological organization.
RTI has both in vivo and in vitro research capabilities in-house; which combine experiences in pharmacology, medicinal and analytical chemistry, and biostatistics to provide a spectrum of pharmaceutical services. RTI's capabilities include the conduct of preclinical studies in mammalian molecular genetics/mutagenesis, reproductive and developmental toxicology, in vivo general toxicology, endocrine toxicology, neurotoxicology, and neuropharmacology. Studies are conducted in compliance with FDA and EPA Good Laboratory Practice Standards and are monitored and audited by an experienced quality assurance staff.
