TransTracker® H
Product Sheet: TransTracker® Temperature Indicators
Effect of Cumulative Heat Exposure
Many medical products can be damaged and lose potency if they are exposed to cumulative heat over a period of time. While moderate short-term heat exposure may not have any effect on the core temperature of the product, continual exposure to heat over a period of time or multiple short high-heat events may damage the product. Such heat exposure can go unnoticed during storage and shipping.
Irreversible Cumulative Heat Exposure Indicator
TransTracker H single-use devices irreversibly darken to signal the occurrence of customer specified cumulative heat exposure over a period of time. These devices monitor heat sensitive products during storage and shipping. The TransTracker H device is placed inside or can be affixed to the exterior of multiple unit secondary packages or shipping boxes. It is an ideal tool to meet quality requirements and manage risk throughout storage and shipment of medical products.
