Two-Way Rotary Tube Selector Valve diverts or converges the flow of pneumatically conveyed powders and pellets in dilute and dense phase pressure and temperature ratings
Nu-Con Equipment Rotary Tube Selector Valve diverts or converges the flow of pneumatically conveyed powders and pellets in dilute and dense phase pressure and temperature ratings and is less susceptible to wear than flexible-hose designs. Inflatable seal on both ports and rotary divert-tube union assures airtight conveying and eliminates leakage problems typical in flap and plug-type diverter valves. The rotary tube eliminates dead pockets and ensures clean purging to prevent cross-contamination between ports. Mounts vertically or horizontally.
Features:
- 2 in.-12 in. tube and pipe sizes
- Inflatable seal on both ports and rotary divertube union provides and airtight conveying seal for up to 75 psig (5 bar) line pressure
- Seals inflate on position confirmation and deflate during switching automatically
- Unused port is automatically sealed off by rotary tube plate
- Positive port alignment
- Uniform bore allows constant velocity, minimizes pressure loss, and ensures clean purging
- Fully-pneumatic operation
- Totally-enclosed pneumatic control valves and electrical terminal connections
- Position confirmation switches
- Stainless steel and carbon steel construction
- Sanitary construction and tool-free disassembly are options
- Valves can be used in dilute phase and dense phase systems
- Mounts horizontally or vertically
