IPEC has extensive experience in designing and fabricating custom utility systems

IPEC has extensive experience in designing and fabricating custom utility systems. The fabricated systems include, but are not necessarily limited to chilled water circulation, tower water circulation, hot water circulation, water to water heat exchange and steam to water heat exchange systems. Piping materials of construction include carbon steel, 304 and 316 stainless steel, copper, PVC, CPVC and galvanized. The system frames are constructed from 304 and 316 stainless and can be designed to be located in mechanical or process rooms.

IPEC's custom utility systems can be provided with DCS or PLC based control systems or provided with termination panels to interface to a customer's specific control platform. Separate or integrated motor control panels can be provided upon customer requests.

Standard documentation provided with each system includes, but is not necessarily limited to: PID schematics, 3D package assembly drawings, mechanical and electrical bills of materials, electrical control drawings, incoming material inspection reports, IQ/OQ and factory test reports.

All IPEC systems are factory acceptance dry tested. Optional, customer witnessed wet testing can be provided utilizing in-house utility systems, such as plant steam, clean steam, DI water, soft water, city water, compressed air and power from 115 VAC single phase through 480 VAC three phase.
